@Malik1276706380 @CFCPys We have other players who can cover the 10. I want Simons, but I want him to be a starter as he's an amazing talent, and I thought he'd be our inside LW option, but Garnacho displaces that.

@ZenBenmore @Malik1276706380 @CFCPys Thought i was the only one reasoning it. Palmer is a player who will hardly get subbed off. You can’t have simons on 10-15 mins per game. And there’s no conference league like last season to help. If they sign garnacho, it’s game over for simons, sadly.

@Malik1276706380 @CFCPys Of course, I'm all for squad depth, but we're not dropping Palmer, and Palmer is always fit. Simons isn't a player you buy and bench for competition.

@ZenBenmore @CFCPys You're right. I remember when the news about it first dropped. It was like it was only a matter of days for us to get the deal done. But it's dragged on for so long now that I doubt if it'd happen. Whereas the Garnacho deal has suddenly picked up speed in the last couple of days.

@ZenBenmore @CFCPys I agree where you are coming from. But I have more hope in your owners that they will sort out the issues.

The Premier League is mental this season, anyone can beat anyone. We rely on two players for 95% of our goals, not sustainable. Even more the reason you need to constantly strengthen your squad.
