@spacepixel When do you see the market topping? Obviously nothing goes up forever, and there are cycles to all markets Not asking for a timeline per se but am curious what kinda signals and things you’d be looking at to determine when the steam might be slowing down for the TCG market

When do you get this many outlier events wrapped up into the same asset class? - Web3 marketplaces (with insane growth) rushing for slabs for their gachas - whatnot streamers buying up all the sealed to rip n ship - Cost to trade the asset class going from 15% to 2% - Speed in which you can trade going from 2 weeks to instant (web3 marketplaces with vaults) - Mix that with people thinking "I should at least allocate 1-5% of my portfolio to this sector as its investable"

There are a lot of narratives trying to break out right now, but because we're in a bear market they're all kinda competing with one another and struggling a little bit - TCG tokens - v4 Hook tokens (hook summer?) - Neobanking tokens Anything else? What's your bet on?

I think they can't act maliciously as it stands, can they? It's not like you're giving your money to a person who then manages it and allocates it, the assets and weights are predetermined and the index / token / v4 hook is just following the code and executing everything permissionlessly So you can review the basket of tokens ahead of time and go yeah, i like the look of this, i'm bullish on the TCG meta or the AI meta or the neobanking meta, i don't want to buy 25 different tokens myself but it doesn't look like there are any rugs or scam tokens, i'll just buy this index that tracks the sector

@Zeneca question if you have a second.. i looked everywhere but cant find the answer can you amend indexes to remove from them dead coins? or dying coins? im guessing a huge majority of indexes will have at least some speculative or risky ones, would all these become obsolete some day?

@ika_xbt @ZeyuC_ @Zeneca Indeed, any new whole Prism remints a new NFT. I believe the dev was intending to just point out the NFT design gets burnt forever but it got lost in translation/clarity.

Glad you liked it! I’d say it’s easy enough for a terminally online crypto user to buy their own basket, but many people don’t have the time or desire to do that and would gladly outsource it to someone else — I don’t get why it has to be an anon tho, why can’t trusted/known personalities (or even companies) launch their own indexes? There are still issues with the design and i also don’t see it taking off as it stands, but with one tweaks/improvements I think there’s a lot of merit to the concept Maybe it’s prism/spectrum that figures it out, maybe it’s some other project in the future, but onchain index funds still seem like a great great great concept to me

Appreciate the detailed breakdown, It really helped me better understand the value proposition of Prism. I must say I really don't see the value of the index feature though. It is easy enough for a crypto user to buy its own basket of tokens, so what is the value of delegating it to (most likely) some anon from the internet? The rest is more interesting at a conceptual level but I struggle to see how this is gonna gain enough traction to reach critical mass.

Why won’t any NFT collection give equity in the business or a % of revenue to NFT holders? They’re only able to build IP, make toys, games or whatever else on the backs of all the revenue they generated from holders, but refuse to reward the community for enabling them.

@Zeneca I am liking the vibes from grail on top of what they got going on (Game and fair raffle system). They have also been buying up the grails, surely helping cards ecosystem

What’re your favourite TCG tokens atm? Pretty clear the sector is here to stay and only growing for now, and is experiencing a hell of an explosive moment lately
