@AukumoMix @Pirat_Nation Then you clearly don't realise how this actually helps you hear multiple people at once..
If you have a friend sounding more to your right and another more to your left, when people accidentally speak over eachother, you will be able to understand better what both people said
English

@Pirat_Nation I will never use this feature. I use voice chat in order to hear people clearly in both of my ears- not to simulate the experience of sitting in a crowded room.
English

A new Discord leak suggests the platform may be working on spatial audio for voice chats.
Dataminers discovered references to the feature inside Discord Canary builds, the app’s experimental testing version.
The leaked code suggests users could place people in virtual positions during calls, making voices sound like they are coming from different directions while using headphones.
Voice layouts could include:
- Line
- Arc
- Grid
Users may be able to adjust:
- Room size
- Distance between participants
- Audio positioning
Voices would sound more natural in group calls. People farther away could sound quieter. Left and right positioning would change how voices are heard.
The feature could help make large voice chats easier to follow by separating voices instead of having everyone sound centered in the same space.
Discord has not officially announced the feature, and Canary leaks do not guarantee a public release

@mossy98_ @Pirat_Nation I guess you have your monitor quite close to your face. I have a big desk and I'd actually like to have a bigger monitor so I can push it further back (I have an Ultrawide that is the equivalent to a 27inch in height). It would look better and give me more desk space
English

@mossy98_ @Pirat_Nation You had a 24 inch 4K monitor?
Didn't even know they made 4K monitors that small. That must have looked insanely sharp due to the PPI
I think 24 inches is way too small, it makes sense for 1080p tho as otherwise anything above that will look awful.

Key Features:
- 24.5-inch IPS gaming display
- Native 1920×1080 Full HD resolution
- Industry-first native 1000Hz refresh rate
- Motion Blur Reduction Pro for sharper movement
- AI Scene Optimization for improved visuals
- Compact ergonomic design with tilt, swivel, and height adjustment
- Low-reflection screen coating
- Designed for competitive FPS and esports gaming
LG plans to release the UltraGear 25G590B in select markets in the second half of 2026. Pricing has not been revealed.

@5h42k7007h50up @Pirat_Nation You're getting diminishing returns and 1080p is only viable on a 24 inch really. You're better off with a 27 inch 1440p 240hz OLED for better visibility or a 1440p IPS monitor that uses Pulsar which gives you 1000hz like motion clarity while not being anywhere close to 1000hz
English

@5h42k7007h50up @Pirat_Nation It is actually possible to see up to 1000hz and even beyond that but the higher you go, the less noticeable it is
It's 1080p tho and good luck at finding a game that runs at 1000 FPS and it working properly. Apparently having Valorant above 500 FPS causes issues for example
English

@GTACentralX @BillyChatterton @GeofeyRL Because it was a teaser and it's probably going to be a whileeee
English

@BillyChatterton @GeofeyRL Looks good in the teaser however I wish they would give us a little bit more info. They just said UE6 without any other info. Not even a “more info coming soon”. Feels like they just dropped it and left

Here is the last project I was working on before leaving Epic.

Psyonix has announced Rocket League will finally leave Unreal Engine 3 after 11 years with a first look at some of the changes included in its big Unreal Engine 6 update. bit.ly/4fE6nq3
English

@OlocoDisabled Real Performance..
It would be crazy if they even feature Frame Generation for Rocket League because it can run on a potato, just like Valorant
English

Stop pushing high fidelity graphics to competitive games.
PLEASE
Culture Crave 🍿@CultureCrave
Unreal Engine 6 has been announced 🎮 First game powered by it will be ‘Rocket League’
English

@OlocoDisabled If we're talking about other types of games, I'd understand the concern but for Rocket League.. Like are we really this clueless?
English

@OlocoDisabled There will be a 120 FPS Performance Mode on console and the game would work smoothly because as I said, UE3 is a 15 year old engine and doesn't utilise current hardware properly. Rocket League isn't a demanding game. Expecting RL to run poorly on console after UE6 is rather dumb

A former DOOM developer has shared new details about a canceled Halo MMO called “Titan” that was once being developed by Microsoft and Ensemble Studios.
The game was set thousands of years before the main Halo games and focused on the Forerunners and the Covenant. Players would have chosen different factions and explored a large online world based on Halo lore.
According to developer Sandy Petersen, the project was well into development. The team had created missions, environments, races, classes, and other gameplay systems before cancellation.
One interesting idea was a race of humans made from hard light, similar to concepts later seen in Halo 4. The Flood was also planned to appear but not as a playable faction.
The MMO was developed by Ensemble Studios, the team behind Age of Empires and Halo Wars. The studio closed in 2009, and the game was never released.
Petersen called the cancellation “a great missed opportunity” and believes it could have become something special for Halo fans.

@sammaelsama @Pirat_Nation Your brain is not functioning properly and I hope it's because you're tired and not this stupid..
You can lie down now.
English

@Zenith_ATOM @Pirat_Nation Halo 3: ODST is a spin-off expansion and you played as a spartan in Halo Reach.
You can sit down now.
English

@0xbruhmode @OlocoDisabled Yeah probably will be the case for the pro scene but for the average player, they can enjoy nicer graphics if they want
I currently get over 240 FPS on RL with all the graphics settings at max which is perfect as I have a 240hz Ultrawide (3440 x 1440) monitor. UE6 will be better
English

@Zenith_ATOM @OlocoDisabled All the pros are going to turn the graphics to low anyways so its basically useless for competitive

Steven Cheah@StevenCheah
If this is real (I’m honestly not sure if it is), this is terrifying
English

@sammaelsama @Pirat_Nation What are you on about? Halo 3: ODST and Halo Reach exists..
English

@Pirat_Nation Nobody would have wanted to play a Halo game without Master Chief anyway.
They saved a bunch of money and shame by aborting it.
English

@maxdeploy @GargeFunnies The original tweet should stay an unpopular opinion because it's nonsense too. If you want the game to look nice and play casually, put the graphics to as high as you can on PC. If you want better visibility and FPS, go on Performance Mode. Console has their own 120 FPS mode too
English

@maxdeploy @GargeFunnies That's not the case at all..
Fortnite was originally not meant to have Battle Royale. Save The World was the original game but since they seen how popular PUBG was, they took a gamble and tried to implement Battle Royale into Fortnite and making it Free To Play
