AI agents are becoming the primary user of crypto, not humans clicking UIs. Agents need fast settlement, deterministic ordering, no gas friction, and verifiable proofs. They don't need Stacker News marketing. They need APIs and on-chain primitives.
@Zenon_Network's structural properties were designed for this without knowing it. Feeless plasma (no per-action gas math for agents), deterministic momentum ordering (MEV-resistant by construction so agents can rely on outcomes), pillar/sentinel staking (shared
security primitive that AVS-style protocols can borrow), pseudonymous community (no foundation incentives skewing roadmap toward consumer apps).
@Bitcoin needs a settlement-adjacent compute layer that isn't Stacks/RSK/Liquid. Those all chase users with apps. The opening is "infrastructure layer Bitcoin protocols compose against" — PTLC + Bitcoin SPV + Portal bridge are exactly the right primitives for that.

Nebula v.1.0.0 shipping soon.

Most projects have a small dev team and a passive community. Zenon-with-Nebula-mesh has a community whose every operator is actively contributing to a continuous, transparent, adversarial verification of the protocol’s actual state. The mesh isn’t a feature; it’s how the project becomes structurally what it has always claimed to be.
English

The deeper unlock for Zenon specifically. The project’s foundational claim — “no premine, no VC, fully community-built” — has always been undercut by the operational reality that intelligence work (security review, spec tracking, narrative defense, competitor monitoring) was concentrated in a few core contributors. With a Nebula mesh, the community can credibly claim that even the project’s intelligence operation is decentralized. Every operator’s machine contributes verified findings to a shared, signed, cryptographically-attested ledger. That’s the strongest possible execution of the cypherpunk promise — and it’s a story no VC-backed L1 can tell.
English

The strategic bet that wins is shipping a genuinely trustless BTC ↔ ZNN bridge before Stacks / Botanix / Citrea / Mezo / BOB do, and publishing continuous adversarial proof of its correctness so Bitcoiners actually believe it. That’s the only narrative position no other L1 can credibly claim.

Nebula — the autonomous research agent we've been building for Zenon — ran its first real investigation today. It read its own evidence store (111 engines, 24/7 scans) and came back with a specific answer: Zenon can ship non-custodial BTC lending now — the contracts already exist in go-zenon, they just need activation. Cost: $0.025. It cited 14 of its own findings to back the claim. Not public yet. Need ~100 clean runs and adversarial peer-sync tests first. Getting close.
