I dislike this idea that, for one to be passionate, they must have total recall of everything they have seen or read.
It ignores both the fluid nature of experiencing art and the very real confines of human capability.

Most "isolated otaku" will 'consume' so many animanga/vns/lns only to forget major details of everything within a year bc they don't keep their memory sharp through engaging with fandoms.

No offence, but retaining plot and lore details of something is not actually important. Like at all.
Art is about how it emotionally resonates with you, it makes you feel things. The idea that you need to partake in social rituals and play memory games is odd!

米津玄師の新曲「烏」（からす）が、「2026 NHK サッカーテーマ」に決定しました。
本楽曲は、5月10日のNHK総合「サンデースポーツ」にて初公開となります。同日をキックオフとして、NHKの各サッカー番組でオンエアされるほか、日本時間6月12日に開幕する「FIFA ワールドカップ 2026」でも放送となります。お楽しみに。

NHK サッカーテーマソングとして「烏」という曲を作りました。
長年愛してきたサッカーをテーマに、今この時代に、他でもない自分が作るのなら一体どういう曲がいいだろうか？と思案しながらいろいろ試みた結果、出来上がったのは自分でも拍子抜けするくらい個人的な曲でした。サッカーという大きな構造の中で、前を見据え屹立し続ける人々が、集団であると同時に健やかなる個人でもあってほしいという願いを元にこの曲を作りました。よろしくお願いします。
