Not enough people are talking about how insane it is that roblox is outsourcing their support to 3rd world countries just because it's slightly cheaper. This is the sole reason any support ticket you make has a 99.9% chance of leading to absolutely nothing. It is disgusting that this massive corporation cares so little about the creators and players that make their platform what it is.

@starxgfx No, AI won't be doing good UI/UX anytime soon, but it's capable of basic design, it's only really worth using currently for placeholder designs while you work on the base for a game

@starxgfx You should probably delete this before he sees it and you have to pay him because MCP's exist which let AI tools like Codex & Claude directly interact with your studio, it's pretty easy to have AI make UI for you without you touching it (Attached an example)

If you can make an AI-generated UI implemented directly into Studio without u touching the UI I will give you 50. All these AI glazers use the excuse of "you're just not prompting right" but have yet to actually show proof of them working to the quality of current Roblox designs

@justalexoki I feel like pedophilia would be significantly less common if people impacted by it weren't labeled just for having those thoughts and could instead seek help for it, that's why I believe this sentiment that it's a crime whether or not you act on those thoughts is dangerous

@Scxiptifyz @hepakain_ I mean the issue isn't really that you're charging $25 for the work, the issue is you're selling to multiple people and the work doesn't really have much effort put into it Kinda just a few parts slapped together to vaguely resemble a pickaxe

@azurique_ And whether or not you believe "P2W" is right, you can't deny the fact that a game won't last long if it's not profitable, devs can't afford to just pour time and money into a game where they aren't making their money back

@azurique_ If the game was primarily PvP based sure, but it's not. There's 0 reason for people to demonize devs for making money off their work, game development never has and never will be something that's done exclusively to release a good product.

@LiefGoy @azurique_ Paid access also doesn't earn as much as just simple p2w features, it doesn't even have to be anything insane for the game to be extremely profitable and at the end of the day profit is good for both the player and the developer

@mprsnd_ The issue has nothing to do with the game being $30, and everything to do with the fact that it was community funded just for them to turn around and make it paid. They could've easily made money if they needed it via in-game transactions.

those criticizing the cost of the egg hunt game really need to read between the lines, like READ THE KICKSTARTER PAGE ffs. just because a game is $30 doesn't mean it's all going into one person's pocket. the money they've raised so far is to support a team of 50+ developers.

@SonDNoYoru It's too big and distracting, your goal isn't looks when you're making a HUD it's functionality, remove the unnecessary effects and make it around half the size and it'll be fine (Also I'd add a darker background color behind the bars instead of leaving it transparent)

@pl4tinumeffects This post made sense until the "Design it first" part, you can't really design onboarding for a game that doesn't exist and if you're expecting development to be 100% on track start to finish you're setting yourself up for failure tbh

Your first 60 seconds of onboarding are worth more than your entire game. Here's why: If a player doesn't feel competent in 60 seconds → they leave. If they feel competent → they stay. If they stay → they spend. Most Roblox devs design onboarding LAST. Design it first.
