I just want to put this out into the universe again.
If you are a homebrew game dev of a system that runs on MiSTer (GB, NES,MD, etc) with a free version or a free demo of you game, I’d love to include it in SuperStation’s Season 1 Homebrew DLC Pack.

@St1ka It is larger than PS1, but about equally difficult to develop for with modern tools. SegaXtreme annual homebrew competition helps a lot.

@St1ka Yes there is. As someone who has done homebrew for all of them, N64 community is currently largest and more importantly for growing, easiest to start with. PS1 is a lot tricker to develop for, but personally I enjoy it more.

@TakiUdon_ I organize Retro game jam here in Finland every year. My main takeaway from that is the need for documentation and tutorials. Especially PS1 has quite high barrier to entry for development as it doesn't have the wealth of resources like Mega Drive, Game Boy or N64 for example.

@TakiUdon_ That would be great! Though I am personally not fan of prizes in game jams. They can create unneccary drama and wrong motives for people. Raffle prices are easier to implement, if you want to provide incentive.
