@ZiercatManor @JNavok Im a gamer, not an activist so i spend my time playing good games like crimson desert. Marathon was ugly and unappealing so i spent zero hours on it like i did concord. If their issue is poor marketing than yes, this is their issue, unappealing characters withdraw interest.

@JNavok Marketing is not the issue, during the server slam over 140,000 concurrent players. It failed to retain them because the game itself just wasnt good.

@MarathonGG_ It took us a bit but my friends and I have gotten vaults 4/6 with a couple good weeends of effort. You can get the vaults done if you play smart and know the map. If your goal is to get your compiler progress you have to prioritize escaping with the subroutines

@JoePostingg I’ve been trying to get back under 13 for 2 mile first like I used to be able, that sub 7 pace can sometimes feel really relaxed but grueling other days

Breaking 20 minutes the first time feels like an insurmountable challenge, but then you do it once and it instantly becomes routine.

@SgtSlag @Quixahtic @Forcer69 If u have bigger vault the span of time before a free kit or rook session would increase dramatically is the point. Currently if you hit a losing streak you are thrown back to that pretty quickly

@ZiercatManor @Quixahtic @Forcer69 but you still have the choice. a larger vault does not restrict them from playing at the pace they claim they enjoy, that's the point. It takes nothing away from them, while benefitting others.

I’m going to be honest, since Marathon is already going to delete all our stuff every 3 months they need to increase the vault to 1000+. Tired of being in poverty after 3 loses, tired of doing a vault cleaning after 2 wins. Also salvage takes up like 1/4 of my vault.

It was a high bar in quality of combat mixed with cinematic story telling that other games have failed to reach since as consistently. True empire strikes back of gaming

They feel more pass/fail vs something like Baldur’s Gate, KOTOR or Fallout where the connection with a companion seems much more organic. I like the missions but I guess i’m tainted by the horrible Zaaed one

@DarcySelke @xShephardx @GoreTiger64th I mean yeah me3 made a lot of improvements to the pacing and style of missions but it was pretty paired down on the breadth of missions. Loyalty quests were also many times multi mission and weaves into the main story I.e tali, legion, Mordin….so ur just wrong lol

@oliver_drk Zelda, Mario, Shadows of the Colossus etc all have bad writing but I don't see weebs crying about it. Witcher is based off a book so story wasn't original. Baldur's gate have a long history. I think only Kingdom come is safe to compare.

Crimson Desert is already a big hit but it doesn't have the critical acclaim to stand right next to Baldur's Gate 3, The Witches 3 or even Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. Especially when you consider that all of them have good writing.
