Getting rich is so fucking easy. All you have to do is show up, take risks, and try new things. And 99% of people don’t even do that. I don’t work as hard as people in the NHS. I’m not a genius either. I simply took the risks no one else would and didn’t follow the social norms. Our brains tell us that if no one else is doing it, we shouldn’t either. But that’s WRONG. If no one else is doing it, then you’re probably on the right track. The 3 rules to follow to be successful: -Take risks. -Show up. -Don’t follow the crowd. Do this, and you’ll see how easy it is to be successful.

I'm finally back at home, after running around trying to make money all summer. I'm over it. I'm done with their games. I see thousands of dollars fly each day, yet I'm handed a tenner for my time. The owner of operations walks off with a couple million. I will succeed.

this is always an odd question to me like, "never work or trade again"? 5-6m in the S&P, live off ~100k (+inflation asjustments) per year but that's not the goal I always wanna work, and I'm always gonna personally manage some portion of my capital the only question I care about is how much cool shit I can get done with the capital I have available there's so many companies I wanna try to build or incubate and so many things I want to be able to fund and contribute to I'd be able to put a few billion to work first the money buys my time then it buys the freedom to take risks and finally it buys the ability to direct the coordinated efforts of other people money is a lever and enough of it will move just about anything so if the goal is personal freedom or comfort, you won't need much but that comfort and freedom won't mean much unless you use it as a position from which to make shit happen and making shit happen is infinitely expensive so I don't want to feel set for life I want to spend my life making as much as humanly possible and eventually die with none of it
