A character very much inspired by Angel Hare by East Patch. Bless them they had such a good idea with that.

Overall, the show has a few nitpicks in how it chooses to tell instead of show but the action is fun, the powers are fun, and they build a fun enough story that you find yourself wanting to watch it to the very end. Good Job High Card. You gave me a Super Spy Shounen I like.

A certain character that becomes more prominent later on in the story shows up and my only gripe with him is that I wish the story would've interjected some of his backstory just a LITTLE bit earlier so the audience had enough time to properly figure him out before the huge twist

Just watched High Card the past two days and wanted to give it a review since I'm a Shounen Nerd and this type of stuff makes me excited. TL;DR - 7/10 A nice anime wrapped up in a cute little Casino Royale James Bond bow with some flashy animation and good storytelling. (1/?)
