Had to put Lucy down today. She was suffering tremendously due to kidney failure. I tried to let her live to the very end by natural means but her condition was so bad and she wasn’t eating, drinking, or sleeping. She was howling in pain and couldn’t walk. I’ve known her half of my life. This took a part of my soul today. Lucy 2006-2023.

I think what Fandy did was remarkable on multiple levels. Childbirth is often romanticized (for good reasons). It is a beautiful concept but it is incredibly brutal and dangerous. The stream was shocking, yes, but also extremely emotional, educational, and deeply human.

I'm not a snowflake who can't take the fact that a cartoon character is transgender, and I am secure in my sexuality, therefore I am not afraid that such a character will make me or my kids want to be something that we are not.
