Last night the match between Real Madrid and Benfica turned ugly after Benfica's Prestianni allegedly hurled racist remarks towards Madrid's Vinicius Prestianni in his defence said he didn't utter anything racist, even though he had to cover his mouth with his shirt, so his lips couldn't be read For full context, Prestianni is Argentinian and historically they're one of the most racist Latino countries. When WW2 ended, a majority of Nazis escaped to that country There's a reason why it's the only Latin country without that many black people. Even the national team, they've rarely had any black players. Messi himself, they've been many instances of him displaying racism but he's FIFA's golden boy so it's swept under the rug Black players just need to accept that, like it or not, racism is always going to be there, it's systematic. Only thing they can do is just show up and embarass the racists on the pitch.

Let me tell you one more time, God does not do politics. Dragging God into politics is not faith, it is abdication. It is an insult to invoke the divine where human responsibility is required. Politics is the domain of human beings, of citizens, of institutions, of courage, of consequence. God does great things, not politics. God does not draft constitutions, God does not amend term limits, God does not rig systems, and God does not dismantle them. Human beings do. And it is human beings who must confront, resist, organise, and defend what is theirs. Stop outsourcing civic duty to heaven while surrendering your agency on earth. Power is confronted by people, not by prayers disguised as political strategy. There is no scripture that instructs people to vote, boycott voting, support political parties, or remain politically neutral. Those are modern civic constructs that emerged thousands of years after biblical texts were written. When people ask, “What does the Bible say about voting and politics?” they are often looking for divine endorsement of political passivity or political positions they are too afraid to articulate themselves. Faith is personal. Governance is civic. Voting, constitutions, laws, and political resistance are the responsibility of citizens, not scripture. So do not hide behind religion when confronted with political responsibility. The Bible will not vote for you. The Bible will not defend your constitution. Citizens must decide, act, and take responsibility for the societies they live in.

As the ZANUPF succession battle intensifies, with accusations and counter-accusations flying between President Emmerson Mnangagwa and his deputy, Vice President General Constantino Chiwenga’s factions, corruption has become the centrepiece of the fight. The latest salvo has come from Mnangagwa’s clansman and former Member of Parliament, Temba Mliswa, who accused Chiwenga not only of corruption but also of enabling the looting and pillaging of Zimbabwe’s resources by the Chinese. In the audio rant below, Mliswa questions how Chiwenga amassed his wealth, tacitly linking him to the missing US$15 billion from the Chiadzwa diamonds when he was Commander of Defence Forces and Mnangagwa was Defence Minister. This escalation follows Chiwenga’s presentation of a corruption dossier at the last ZANUPF politburo meeting, in the presence of Mnangagwa, which has further inflamed the factional hostilities between the two men. All the names in the dossier are linked to President Mnangagwa’s faction. President Mnangagwa has cancelled all foreign travel after learning that corruption dockets have been prepared against his allies and that they would be arrested as soon as he leaves the country. He also cancelled his trip to the United Nations General Assembly.
