@viataemort @Polterghast For reference, I do remember somebody on twitter a few years ago saying they were the "first c1s fem artificial ascent victor" (it was actually hacked or false lol), but they get a metric ton of backlash for it, with people claiming they were unnecessarily separating women

@Polterghast How would the addition of c1s in the title have been controversial in any way? The problem here wasn't that trans women weren't included in a top 10 c1s women but that the creator acted weird about it. Putting women in the title and in the description clarifying that trans women

Unfortunate reality is if you made a video called "top 10 hardest levels beaten by women" and included trans women, you'd essentially just make "top 10 hardest levels beaten by trans women" And if you added "cis" you'd inevitably get hit with "why are you excluding trans women?"

You are right with the second point, though I do wonder what could have been had testing gone on

@Zinger_X @lep1c2l0 @MizutamariVT I read the article but I find it not really supportive of the claim -nothing about these trials being forcibly shut down -it sounds like the women’s group tried to pus researchers to make a pill for women first, not impede a male pill once the women’s pill existed

Fun fact: the arguments used in this tweet are the exact reason male birth control doesn't exist yet for sale. All the original trials showed it was much safer, with less side effects, and higher success rates then even the most invasive female birth control methods. But it was forcibly shut down by women's advocacy groups which lobbied using the claims that it was denying women control over pregnancy which was seen as an exclusively female right.

As the number increases, you get diminishing returns. Even if the dkitey level is alright, it's best to let as many people as possible get at least 1 point (plus it's an achievement)

@CairoX_GD I'm not too sure tbh, I would've thought people like Split72, dkitey, and possibly even you to a much lesser extent would have far easier and more direct contact with mods. I'm not quite sure how else anybody can manage to rack up so many creator points

see unfortunately, mods need their own levels sent, so most of the time they send it themselves, and if we made it so where they couldnt, it wouldnt solve the issue cuz they all still communicate with each other via modchat and can get easy sends. So imo mods should be held to a higher standard cuz they can easily get their own / other mods levels sent. We on the other hand do not have that luxury, and thus shouldnt have a reason for our stuff not to get sent. Like if we level grind, and arent a mod, there shouldnt be an issue sending one of our levels.

See if I were a mod, and dkitey sent me this, id send it, due to the fact it doesnt hurt unknown creators' chances of getting a rate, people can play this g ame however they want, and robtop is the final assessor of a level getting rated. Its not my job to rate levels, its my responsibility to make sure robtop sees levels, the more the better. If I think a level is really bad then I wont send it, but its gotta be ABYSMALLY bad. Im not sending layouts tho or unfinished levels. Holding creators to different standards especially as a mod only drives the community further apart than it already is, we all play this game for different reasons and play it differently, AND THATS OK. It wont hurt my feelings sending a level I think is just ok, not great or amazing. This whole sentiment I see of people getting mod, then praise uniqueness over everything as if its the only thing that matters, sickens me. We dont have to improve every time we create, we can just create its not that serious. If I genuinely were a mod, I wouldnt even join modchat id just send levels. I dont need to interact with more of those types of people, I just wanna focus on getting levels sent, regardless of the skill levels the creator may have. I just wanna have a good time and create levels, if I want to improve, it will be cuz I want to, not cuz someone is forcing me to just so I can get a rate, its stupid. It would be actually helpful to unknown creators for getting rates if we stopped overanalyzing levels to the point where it is now. Like im never gonna be as good as CuluC, bli, helpegasus, or any cherryteam member, but I dont need to be, I can create however I choose and so can any other creator. @CairoX_GD I've personally found it where established creators have far more reach/an existing track record with other mods and thus have a fast-track to getting levels sent. I can't fully agree with landon's view, but I agree that established creators should be held to a higher standard

@Zinger_X if all mods has this mindset then it would be just as easy for u to get a rate then any other creator, there would be no bias. You would just send it through either their own server / dm it to any mod.

@viataemort @LazzVEVO @akuna_kun I think it's just cause there are only so many rates that happen each day, so it makes some sense to prioritize more unknown creators or established creators still improving. Nothing wrong with rating levels from stagnant creators, but the former 2 have more reason

@LazzVEVO @akuna_kun Why would you need to "reward" improvement? Robtop or the mods are not life coaches. Their "job" is to rate or send levels that are deemed rate worthy by them. I don't understand, why would you need to consider anything other the level itself to determine if the level gets rated?

I hope that creators see this Gd is still a game for creators too, if u dont wanna improve, that is okay and people like landon expecting u to get better everytime isnt good imo If players can just stargrind and never go for hardests, why cant creators do the same?
