Financial resilience starts with visibility into taxable activity. At N-Soft, we help governments strengthen revenue collection through real-time transaction reporting across sectors such as mobile money, Pay TV and gambling. In Burundi, this approach contributed to a 500%+ increase in the gambling sector's turnover in the month after implementation. Interested to learn more? Get in touch here n-soft.com/en/contact/

Accurate data is the foundation of transparent revenue collection. When transaction visibility is limited, reporting becomes more difficult to validate and public revenue becomes less secure. N-Soft (@NSoft17 ) helps governments strengthen revenue visibility through trusted, transaction-level reporting.

Eastern Europe’s gambling markets show how rapidly growth can outpace visibility. New tax measures, monitoring systems, and tighter controls are being introduced across the region, yet unlicensed activity continues to limit revenue visibility and complicate supervision. For governments, the real question is whether online betting activity can be tracked with enough precision to support effective reporting, taxation, and implementation. That is where transaction-level visibility becomes essential.

AGE (@ageafrique) 2026 showed how quickly Africa’s gaming market is moving from frontier to prominence as digital adoption, fintech and mobile connectivity continue to expand. That growth is increasing the need for stronger compliance, improved supervision and clearer reporting across regulated markets. Alex-Ariel Tchetgnia (@tchetgnia), VP Services, represented N-Soft in Lagos, where these themes were central to the conversation. As Alex-Ariel Tchetgnia put it “As Africa’s gambling sector grows, the need for effective regulation grows with it.”

Mobile money has become a critical component of digital economies across many emerging markets. While this growth brings clear benefits for financial inclusion, it also creates new supervision challenges for regulators. Ensuring transaction visibility, operator reporting and effective fiscal oversight will be essential for governments seeking to safeguard revenue and maintain transparency as digital payment ecosystems continue to expand. Live from the @the_IDB Group 2026 Annual Meetings in Paraguay. @igoldfajn Digital transformation and AI are central to discussions on regional growth. Sustainable outcomes depend on fiscal governance frameworks capable of securing revenue in an increasingly digital economy. I encourage you to connect with our Advisor for Market Development in Latin America, Lizbeth Ulett Alvarez, who is representing N-Soft at the meetings. “Civil society in Latin America needs renewed momentum. Inclusive policies, investment in digital infrastructure and AI, and stronger partnerships can help generate productivity, new revenue streams, and shared value for sustainable growth.”

I would select preventing tax leakage. Rapid growth in digital gambling markets often outpaces the supervision frameworks responsible for monitoring them. Revenue collection gaps quickly emerge when operator activity, transaction flows and player behaviour are not subject to structured oversight. Governance technology enables governments to monitor gambling ecosystems in real time, strengthen compliance mechanisms and ensure that economic activity translates into declared public revenue.
