I wonder how many indie content creators can relate to this. After 5 years of doing this, it really feels like I’ve seen a bit of everything. Recently, some people got worried about me because a few bad actors were badmouthing me in a different server. But the truth is… This isn’t new to me. Over the years, I’ve had moments where people from my own community, people I appreciated, became overly attached, and when I didn’t fit the version of me they had in their head, things turned negative, toxic. Growth doesn’t just bring support, it also brings projection. And sometimes, people expect you to be someone you’re not. What I’ve learned over the years is: You can’t control how people perceive you, and that's fine. Because if we were to change to become something everyone loves, all that would be left is a fake and broken version of ourselves that no one will actually truly like, ESPECIALLY ourselves. I’m still here, doing what I love, with the people who genuinely support me and like me for who I am. And that’s what matters! 🌹 Nothing will stop me.
