Says people think twice before wearing visible Christian symbols like a pendant, to avoid unpleasant situations. Notes it happened before this government too, but has intensified since it took office with no effort to stop it. Paniot Panioto (Greek Christian tour guide, born in the Old City): Says every year they feel less and less able to observe their traditions properly. Describes standing at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre entrance this year feeling "choked" by the humiliation. Closing appeal: "We Christians have been here 2,000 years. What's your problem with us?" Hanna Bendkowski (Rossing Center): Says the climate is one of Jewish supremacy and rejection of anyone who isn't Jewish. Notes she doesn't know a single Christian family that isn't discussing leaving. Warns that evangelical support for Israel in the U.S. is declining, especially among the young. Jewish supremacy is the order of the day in Israel. Anyone of another religion is humiliated and looked down on. Eventually this leads to violence and ethnic cleansing.
