You know Beck’s career before he’s ever thrown a pass in this league? Before you respond to someone you should have facts to back it up. And the facts for Beck is that he had a hell of a college career. It may or may not translate but the potential is there and if it doesn’t workout then that works great for the Cardinals because we’ll have a top 5 pick to try and get another franchise qb.

Beck hasn’t played a down yet in the NFL so he still has a lot to prove. Ward and that Titans Offense was far from Dynamic last year. But what I do know for sure is comparing Ward to Beck they both played at Miami and Beck got a whole hell a lot farther than Ward did at Miami. It’s time to get rid of Brian Kaplan! We had one of the worst pitching staffs last year and now this year. This is a staff that has 2 young pitcher everyone was pretty high on that have regressed or stayed the same but haven’t taken that next step, a staff that has seen Gallen go from a Top 15 starter at the worst maybe top 5-10, Merrill Kelly maybe he’s getting old might be injuries who knows, but ERod has been a solid pitcher throughout his career and we had Burnes and they kind of fumbled that early last year not knowing he had a routine that saw him start the 6th game not the 2nd because of that routine. We have seen an unprecedented amount of injuries is it the pitching coach? Idk but it’s worth looking into.

There are 132 Diamondbacks game left after this one.. but Early concerns are pitching: Dbacks have given up 3rd most runs in the MLB. Dbacks are middle of the pack in runs scored at 14th.

BTJ??? Dude had a horrible 2nd season so he’s not even in the conversation and Nabers had a great rookie season but neither of those guys have another running mate like McBride and Wilson. MHJ had an OC that couldn’t feature more than 1 WR a game. Prime example Wilson had monster games when MHJ was out but as soon as they inserted him back in Wilson was nonexistent. So no he’s not a bust let the dude play and see what he does when he has an actual play caller.

@DbacksStatsInfo I think you may have to DFA Santana and leave Locklear in the minors. You can’t take at bats away from Fernandez and Vargas. It’d be different if Arenado was still struggling but he’s been on a heater too.

Will be fascinating to see how they operate moving forward. I’m not entirely sure how you can take away every day at bats from a dude hitting .315 over 89 ABs, SLG .449, and has hits in 18 of 27 games. Looking at you Mr. Fernandez.
