We say NO to violence against women and girls because everyone deserves to feel safe, whether at home or in public spaces.

We say NO to violence against women and girls because the climate crisis is also a human rights issue. Climate change and environmental degradation increase the risks of gender-based violence due to displacement, resource scarcity and the breakdown of essential services.

We say NO to violence against women and girls because achieving true gender equality means engaging everyone in the solution. When men are recognized not as perpetrators but as partners and allies in prevention, lasting change becomes possible.

We say NO to violence against women and girls because real societal and cultural change begins with understanding and accountability.

We say NO to violence against women and girls because gender-based violence is one of the greatest barriers to achieving gender equality. Ending it requires everyone’s involvement, including men and boys, to challenge discrimination and promote respect.

We say NO to violence against women and girls because no one should ever have to face abuse. When violence occurs, survivors of gender-based violence need access to safe and supportive resources.

We say NO to violence against women and girls because we want to break the cycle of violence. Teaching children about healthy relationships, equality and respect for all genders helps create a foundation for empathy and nonviolence.

We say NO to violence against women and girls because those in public life, parliamentarians, journalists and activists, often face harassment, threats and psychological violence simply because of their gender.

We say NO to violence against women and girls because less than 40% of women who experience violence ever seek help. Most turn to family or friends, while few reach out to formal institutions such as police or health services.
