@ZoomZam10 @FLCons Are you or have you ever been a parent? Parents know when a child is having a melt down for no real reason. Fed, changed, not hurt etc. When my son was little and would start his 😭 in the car, I blasted the radio. Always shut him up.

No, the video isn't real as presented. The explosion footage is from an Israeli strike on the empty Al-Farouk Mosque in Nuseirat, Gaza (Nov 2024 original by journalist Khamis Al-Rifi—no audio of the call to prayer). The adhan sound was edited in later for effect. The mosque was evacuated after warnings; no one was praying inside.

@Killed_The_Kat @TAftermath2020 The music is broadcast around town on speakers every few blocks, it is just being transmitted from the mosque. Hence the explosion is timed with the cessation of music (signals pass through wire/air at ~50%+ speed of light)

@TAftermath2020 Explain to me how there is no delay to the sound of the voice cutting off but there is a delay to the sound of the explosion? They would be simultaneous.

@FLCons No, don't do this. Whether it works or not should not be any parents criteria. This may work now but it teaches a child to disregard others, maybe even themselves.
Take the time, hug the child, listen to them, comfort them.
Be patient while they are learning to cope with life.

Check if they are:
Hungry
Angry
Lonely
Tired
And bare minimum, acknowledge the feeling with them.
