Nick Wilde putting Chief Bogo in his place for how unfair he's been to Judy Hopps. She did more in 38 hours than they did in the last two weeks.

After years of fanon (a lot was/is so good, not generalizing. And even some of the most uncharacteristic fanon media was/is nice to consume), it was so refreshing to watch Zootopia 2 as a delicious film that takes its characters seriously. Watching Nick Wilde go from Zootopia 1 to Zootopia 2 has been one of the richest experiences in a decade tbh, because there is consistency with the details. We saw more of what lies beneath the sly fox and even more of that "golden/noble heart" described in one of the Z1 interviews. There is no spot touched on Z2 that wasn't already on Z1. The sequel literally expanded his character to the point where I can see Nick Wilde at the end of Z2 and feel he has gone through a lot of growth, like a real person (rich in layers without ever stopping being himself). A great work for character development (same with Judy God)

ngl yall will never convince me that they don't treat nick like a punching bag in Z2...the movies emotional core would've been ten times stronger had everytime he got hurt not been treated like a slapstick. There's lit no emotional weight to scenes like him getting arrested lol
