@whyXshubh That's actually a really good point. The conversation should be more about how we differentiate between trustworthy and untrustworthy content. Consuming the latter can be highly misleading.

@Zorgonssss Was it ever about who made the content vs how legit the content is ? I am referring here what positive value it provides as deep fakes are more harmful if used in the wrong way

We are rapidly losing the ability to trust our own eyes. As AI fidelity explodes, the line between reality and generation is disappearing. By 2026, the obvious artifacts—like weird fingers or lighting glitches—will be gone. If we can't computationally or cryptographically verify content, how do we differentiate? What is your strategy for navigating the deepfake era? Is "proof of humanity" now essential? #AIDeepfakes #TechTrends #GenerativeAI #Verification

@Dev_Lurker man you giving me PTSD by talking about how to center a div. I’ll take my chances with my life to get some inner peace.

In 2026, we’re at a career crossroads: Some say the "Jack of all trades" is the ultimate survivor in a fast-moving world. Others argue AI commoditizes generalists, making "Master of one" the only path to a premium. Both sides think the other is facing obsolescence. Who’s right?

@ShamsCharania Man, Curry so inspirational. He really didn’t take that disrespect from Nike. That’s a real one right there.

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry has signed a shoe endorsement contract with Chinese company Li-Ning -- a landmark 10-year deal, sources tell ESPN. Li-Ning extends his Curry Brand venture globally and encompasses basketball products, athleisure, the ability for Curry to sign athletes under his brand, and a full golf line.

You're right on the Karpathy point. That said, I still believe deep expertise matters. If you’re a generalist trying to do many things, AI will probably replace you. But if you’re a true expert in one domain, AI can take over 90% of the work… it’ll still need you for that final critical 10% where real judgment and taste matter.

Careful with that one - Karpathy's "10,000 hours" is a learning framework (how to become an expert), not a claim that specialists are irreplaceable. If anything his current view cuts the other way: he argues basically everything verifiable is automatable and delegates most of his own coding to agents. The edge that actually survives isn't hours logged - it's judgment and understanding, and that doesn't reduce to a stopwatch

@aditiitwt Lowkey depends on what you want it for. I'd choose the MacBook Pro M5 + iPhone 15 combo any day over the latter.

@muskaan___07 As a developer, MacBook is better for coding — it's more convenient, stable, and smoother for daily development work. Windows is only worth it if you really value the freedom to choose your OS (Linux/Windows). Otherwise, MacBook wins for most devs.

@Taniyatweets_ AI is for non-tech guys chasing quick results. Real software succeeds through strong system design. Without it, any code is destined to fail at scale. Coders who master system design will dominate as AI advances.

@coderaw_ Windows is the default because it's the easiest — it just works for most people who want to get stuff done without hassle. Linux is better if you actually enjoy technology and want more control. Different tools for different people.
