Got 18th - Top 32 Overall at Milwaukee!!
This event has been by far my best performance that I've ever had in a Pokémon tournament. I've played very, very good Pokémon games within this past weekend and I think I enjoyed this event more than any other.
First, I'd like to give a special thanks to @Narretgg for the team. The moveset changes are an absolute blast, and a little push from you is enough momentum for me to click on the team within my ability.
Shoutouts to @Gabers_ for the mons although I specifically wanted Kingambit to be female for naming conventions lmao
Shoutouts to the @PortlandVGC community overall for all the kind words and cheering, although I moved, I'll forever be proud to be a part of y'all!
And last but not least, thank you to everyone that I talked to within the past weekend. I tend to don't talk to people around whenever I'm in the verge of elimination to calm myself and trying so hard not to panic, but this event, I did the opposite, and it paid off well, even better than I thought it would. So if you have had even just a hello and good luck from me, I appreciate all of you :)
In all honesty, I did not expect myself to be even in day 2, let alone be in this high of position. I always felt like there's something that I need to improve and I still have yet to solve my own problem, but I just couldn't figure out what it is. It started since the unsuccessful runs of 2 times losing to win-and-in once again and a streak of 6 x-3 events in a row into an x-4 to break the streak. Preperations have not been well, and my mentality towards the game has been in an all-time low. However, I realized that there are more people that believed in me than I thought, and were all rooting for me to accomplish high placements. I'm happy to have been broken through my self doubts and performed extraordinarily well like how I wanted myself to be playing.
With that said, I do feel like I can bring the team's potential higher, and Milwaukee is definitely a good ramp up for pushing towards even better placements.
Will definitely go to Vegas and looking forward to having better games of competitive :)
