This is honestly getting ridiculous. 😂 It doesn't matter what game I post about anymore, there's always someone in the replies saying: "No disc, no buy." I get that some people prefer physical games, but are you really going to skip every great game just because there's no disc version? And btw, I've noticed that a lot of the accounts spamming this under every post were created either this month or last month. 🤔 Are physical-only gamers really this serious about it, or has "no disc, no buy" just become the latest spam trend on X? The report says some developers are frustrated because those paid posts are flooded with negative comments and community notes from players mad with PlayStation’s recent decisions It also says this could become a bigger problem for future marketing campaigns, with GTA 6 mentioned as one example if the backlash continues. I didn't know this about game key cards. Apparently, they work offline as long as the card was previously connected to the internet at some point. This isn't ideal, but I take this over digital only.

A PC gamer has found a fun way to make Steam games feel like physical cartridges again. Reddit user u/Jibril-sama created a setup using old 2.5-inch SSDs, with each 128GB drive holding one Steam game and a small script. When the SSD is plugged into the PC, it automatically opens Steam and launches that game. The creator bought the used SSDs for around €7 each and uses them to store games that aren’t played often, freeing up space on the main drive. When they want to play a game, they simply plug in the SSD like inserting a game cartridge.
