We celebrated a lot of friendships today for Valentine's Day at Westhoff! Two of our kindergarteners were an aWESome duo today!

For those that don't know Westhoff is celebrating our 25th anniversary this year! At our assembly today we highlighted staff that have been here since WES opened and took a full staff picture. We are so proud to be a Lions!

Happy 100th day!

Our 5th graders learned about our wonderful Orchestra club. It is a club that provides a chance to learn to play a stringed instrument to prepare for middle school orchestra. We are so lucky to have Mrs. Satterfield run this club Club sign-ups are coming out next week!

Ms Martin and Dr. Hendrix are so excited to meet our new Lions and welcome back our returning Lions on Monday!

Our Westhoff staff had a great morning kicking off our year at the Northside staff kickoff this morning! The followed it with a great meeting with our Westhoff staff.

What a great final day at Westhoff! The staff had some fun races this morning in inflatables and we finished our early release day celebrating our fifth graders with a clap-out. We hope everyone has a wonderful summer and we will see you all in August!

Wednesday, 2-19-2025 will be a traditional snow day in FZSD. There will be no school 2-19-2025 due to inclement weather and road conditions. Just a reminder, this means the day will have to be made up at the end of the school year. Again, 2-19-2025 will be a snow day in FZSD.

Our staff are "Sparkly and Bright" today for our winter spirit day today!

Our Student Council did a great job g this morning packing up our food drive donations. All donations will go to the Fort Zumwalt food pantry that serves the students and families of our district.

We had an amazing turnout at Westhoff for Veterans Day with 80 veterans joining our student-led celebration. #proudtobealion

We are so proud of our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders for working so hard on their MAP test this year. Today we celebrated their hard work with a little fun!

Happy Teacher Appreciation week! Today was bring a teacher a flower day. Our classrooms are even more beautiful today! Thank you families for all the beautiful flowers!

Westhoff had a great time viewing the eclipse today! Thank you to all of our volunteers who helped make the historical event run smoothly.

Our Read Across America week wraps up today with "dress like a storybook character".
