@NonyboyO3 @4k3k3_G4vi @realwick_ Yes, the depiction changes heavily between the two series
Both of them live in different eras
English

@Zuma5678 @4k3k3_G4vi @realwick_ I think the power and effect of bending was just depicted to be greater in tlab than in tlok
English

@NonyboyO3 @4k3k3_G4vi @realwick_ Iroh was distracted that's why it looks like he was one-shotted by Azula
English

This reminds me of when people misinterpreted what Sasuke said about wanting to restore the Uchiha clan
TaiSho 🇯🇲@Taishoja
Aang wanted to restore the air nation but only had 3 kids?
English

@4k3k3_G4vi @realwick_ Azula hit Iroh with Lightning and he was bed ridden for days
Azuka also hit Zuko with Lightning and Katara had to continue the fight for him.
Same Azula hit Aang with lightning and he almost died and endednthe avatar cycle
It's a one shot technique.

@annaivx_ @Shmans13F @MichaelNic35257 Yes, but he isn't that skilled in Fire in the show
You are highly welcome ❤️
English

@Zuma5678 @Shmans13F @MichaelNic35257 ohh right. He became very skilled in those two but never fully mastered it. Thanks for telling me
English

Aang learned all four elements while being hunted by an entire nation. Korra lost her connection to the past Avatars because she was moving like a distracted toddler.
The law📖🤚🏿@_spicychoco_
Let’s settle this now Who was the better avatar Aang. Or. Korra
English

@annaivx_ @MichaelNic35257 The funny thing is that Korea defeated Vaatu before the interruption
English

Didn’t Korra learn how to use 3/4 elements as a toddler while Aang only started learning elements other than air when he was 11?
Didn’t Korra lose connection with the past avatars because she was fighting Vaatu? Vaatu, a hundreds of thousands year old entity that Aang never even came close to fighting nor fought anything like it? It’s really not surprising that Vaatu was the only thing powerful enough to actually damage the power of an avatar since Raava and Vaatu are each other’s equal and inverse, which makes the Dark Avatar that Vaatu created, by fusing with a human host to fight Korra and get rid of her connection to the past avatars, the only equal to the avatar.
The debate between whether Aang or Korra is better is so pointless. They’re both incredible and powerful in their own right. Let’s not pretend as if they’re not perfect equals.
English

Correction, Aang mastered all four elements by the end of Avatar: The Last Airbender, specifically by the time of his battle with Fire Lord Ozai, which is when he was 12 or 13 (so not 9 or 10 like you claim). But speed at mastery doesn’t make him more powerful or even a better avatar than any of the avatars.
The age at which each avatar mastered all elements varies so widely. For example, Avatar Roku didn’t master all four until his late twenties and avatar Kyoshi mastered all four elements when she was a teenager but was definitely older than Aang, but that doesn’t mean Roku or Kyoshi are less capable or inferior to Aang in any way as avatars. Korra mastering all four elements when she was 17 or 18 doesn’t make her inferior to Aang in any way as an avatar either. They are all equal to one another. They’re supposed to be in order to actually succeed in fulfilling their purpose, and so far, they all have.
