2024 comes to a close & what a year it has been at ZIB, our 40y. anniversary was celebrated on multiple occasions and with the help of the amazing people who here, it has been such a great showing of the things we do, did, & plan to do here at ZIB. Thank you all & to a good 2025.

The summer school CO@Work 2024 took place from Sep 16-27, 2024, at ZIB and was organized jointly by TU, HTW, FU, and ZIB 142 on-site, plus 408 online participants took part in 43 lectures on the latest progress in computational optimization and mathematical programming!

Joel Witzke and Florian Schintke from ZIB together with their co-authors received the Best Poster Award at the 20th IEEE International conference on e-Science in Osaka, Japan for their work "I/O of scientific workflows monitored in detail". Congrats!
