@clastee Oh love. I've been sitting here for 30 mins wishing I could help. Hmm, maybe an agreement that if you were to ever end up with terminal cancer friends & family orchestrate a random accident/poisoning/assassination so you honestly can't predict how & when the end will come?

I just want someone to tell me I’m not gonna die of cancer and then everything will be grand. pls can someone arrange that? cool ta x

I did the Bath half marathon today for @CR_UK. 13K in, I met my hairdresser Noel (L), he had finished but ran the rest of the way with me. Eddie (81) was struggling so we called the medics but in the end we took him by each arm & walked with him until just before the finish line

I sat in this same chair in February 2023 to get my head shaved after my first chemo 🥴 today I’m here waiting for my first post cancer haircut 😭 I could burst!!

my radiotherapy means I’m not home until mid evening, and exhausted when I arrive. my partner was doing 80% of the cooking already, now it’s 100%. I feel so very, very bad. so when a friend sent us a deliveroo voucher today we both cried. bless you Tiff 💜 actual angel.

@_jb1982 Hmm yeah I'm just worried I'm missing something. Or that I don't have ADHD, I'm just a lazy, unmotivated person and chaotic person. 🙄

@ZuukGambit It took maybe 3 months of different dosages before I found what worked for me. I remember feeling the same on the first meds. The differences can be imperceptible to you but maybe not others.

Any other #ADHD folk finding it near impossible to tell if medication is having an effect? I think I have been overly influenced by the YouTube tribe and expected a miracle/ massive light bulb moment. Stories of gentle, almost imperceptible improvement would help me right now.

@JillD86 Thanks for replying. The Non-stimulant medication is currently out of stock in the UK so not an option. Choices are 2 diff stimulant meds or no meds. I've tried both stims & not noticed much difference. But I worry that I'm just not very observant or that I'm expecting too much

@ZuukGambit I can’t claim to be an expert, but I think the right medication(a) at the right dose should make a significant difference, or why bother? I’d talk to your doctor about upping / changing meds if you’ve waited long enough for it to fully be in your system (for non stimulants)
