If we’re unable to reach that level of clarity and commitment by next Monday, we will move forward with the next steps to formally protect the project, our backers, and the brand, including engaging our legal representative.

On my end, I’ve engaged legal representation to ensure that what’s being communicated from World of Game Design is accurate and that all commitments are followed through on. I’ll keep you all updated by early next week as more information comes in.

At the moment, WoGD controls all of the funds tied to the Kickstarter and Backerkit, which adds another layer of concern. That said, I’m still hopeful they come through with clear commitments in the coming days. I’ll keep you updated as the week wraps.

I’ll be honest, this has been deeply frustrating and not at all how I expect a project like this to be handled. It’s also not the standard I hold for myself or for our partners. All of you have been waiting patiently, and I don’t take that lightly.
