@Ryanm13988 @MV33Racing The pennies you get extra for winning the WCC compared to finishing 2nd is nothing compared to the money you’ll make from having the incumbent WDC in your team. No one will remember the WCC winner. So they should not “gift” it to Max just to not hurt Piastris feelings

Here’s Zak Brown confirming that McLaren will use team orders in Abu Dhabi.
Notice how SkyF1 once again suggests that Oscar will be sacrificed rather than Lando, even though Oscar could still win the WDC in the final corners of the last lap.

@Ryanm13988 @MV33Racing It’s not about Lando or Oscar in a swap situation to secure the win. It’s about the business that is McLaren and the 1.200 employees who has worked their asses off all year to produce a winning car. They deserve to win it all.

@MattP1Tommy According to the current racing rules, Piastri was deserving of a penalty as he was not significantly alongside, and Antonelli is therefore allowed to close the door.
But can we agree that the current racing rules are ridiculously stupid and need to change for 2026?

Amazing article by Mark, I highly recommend you all to read it. Oscar isn’t being disadvantaged because the difference in pace is due to driving styles. Their corner entries are very different causing the tyres to be used very different. Mexico was the perfect storm to see this
