"One More" Try is from the album Faith (1987), George Michael's debut solo album after Wham!. He wrote and produced the entire track by himself, and the crazy thing is that he recorded and finished everything in just eight hours.
Released as the fourth single, it became #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for 3 weeks (the third #1 followed by the album Faith), also #1 on R&B and Adult Contemporary in the US. In the UK it only reached #8.
