I do not understand billionaires. Why would you desire MORE money at this point? You have the power to change the world massively for the better, AND still not affect your daily life. If i was somehow born into this (or having this somehow), that would be the no-brainer option.

@thevivafrei It really pisses me off seeing retarded Canadians, mostly lefties from what I have seen, try to justify this citing weather redistribution. Canada has become a shit hole of leeches that enjoy being taxed to death.

This is what seal-clappers who say "pay your taxes and shut up" don't understand. They pretty much arbitrarily determine "FMV" (fair market value) of the SHARES of a private company. And then they tax you on the deemed disposition value of the "FMV" of those shares of a private corporation. People saying "just leave the assets so you don't get taxed". That's not an option. They either financially violate you on the way out, or you become a criminal for "not paying your taxes". I expected people not to have sympathy for Gad because they stupidly think if the government arbitrarily asses your shares in a private company at a certain value, you must be worth X that or have that cash in the bank. Most people don't. But the government wants to keep you locked into their prison so they can continue to ravage you through excessive taxation.

Following a very difficult meeting with my accountant, I just found out how much it is going to cost me in terms of an "exit tax" to leave Quebec and Canada. No human being in a free society should have their hard-earned money stolen in this manner. I'm genuinely numb. I'm speechless.

Took a couple shares of $SPCX fuck it

Finally came around to checking my stats for April and May. Took a big L on a risky swing on $ALP, way too much size out of greed, but would be up %60 on account without it. Was on a tear, and as per my usual fuck ups, went all in when I should've known better swinging a dog shit company while playing golf. Kind of an ok return after that rocky April where I was getting used to a bunch of stuff. This account is for one strat only mind you, and you should keep a close eye on metrics when branching out of familiar territory. Still in $TTD however, and currently up about 9% on it. So the reality is I am sitting on unrealized gains, and the account is up closer to +37%. #Swingtrading #Trader
