If anyone's heard about some criticisms against @ScotParl's recent Gender Recognition Reform Bill, I looked into the data behind it and compiled the thread below. I learned a lot about the situation, so hopefully you find it enlightening #GRRB #Scotland #trans #SelfID 🏳️‍⚧️

@VanthoorLaurens If the time Franz did was in a car with a Nords BoP config, then he's crushed the 2024 pole time by 23 seconds. Dont get me wrong, I strongly respect his ability, but have serious doubts over the performance of that car and how it compares to general Nords BoP...

@xcluster_x @VanthoorLaurens It would be running to some BoP but what BoP we don't know for sure. If it was to Nords BoP then he's smashed last year's pole time by 23 seconds, which I have some suspicions over as that amount of time is surely too much to find...

@lastposterig @xcluster_x @VanthoorLaurens If it was to NLS BoP then he's bettered last year's pole time by 23 seconds (assuming same layout). I'd be stunned if anyone can find 23s over every GT ace in equally-performing machinery around Nords.

@KCyouki @michaeldds @VanthoorLaurens Like I don't doubt his ability, he's damn fast and that's proven, but a lot of people are saying 'he's set a record therefore he's better than everyone else', which assumes every GT driver does un-bopped laps which isn't true...

The Supreme Court refused to listen to trans voices. Today on the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia we brought them somewhere they couldn’t ignore

@Deew04 @GoodLawProject This was about whether trans women are legally considered as women. They listened to cis women speak, but no trans person was allowed to. That's the point of this. If men represented women's voices, that doesn't mean women spoke.

@GoodLawProject Behave, Scottish Gov't & Amnesty International representated trans voices in the For Women Scotland v Scottish Ministers case & five Supreme Court were unanimous in the legal definition of "woman" it's you who is refusing to listen.

@RealLindellTV @WhiteHouse Apart from that the tariff numbers are entirely false. The White House is saying 'trade deficit divided by exports = tariff', which is way off how tariffs actually work. What they're doing is punishing countries for having big trade deficits with the US via tariffs

@PeerJansen1 @WhiteHouse It doesn't, the tariff levels are fabricated based off the trade deficit to the US and the exports to the US. The actual EU tariff on US goods averages out to about 5%

@Ebbesvondrei @PeerJansen1 @WhiteHouse VAT is a sales tax, not an import tax. VAT doesnt affect tariff levels, but Trump wants to persuade everyone that it does. Most of the world has some form of VAT, EU countries aren't the one-off.

@PeerJansen1 @WhiteHouse Minimum VAT in Luxembourg is 17%, it is even higher in all other countries in the EU. Add this to the other fees.

@CherylStoner14 @WhiteHouse That's why Vietnam's tariff is supposedly 90%: They are in a MASSIVE trade deficit to the US, and don't export much in return. All of the tariff numbers listed aren't real, they're fabricated by the WH. Tariffs do exist, but the EU's tariff is more like 5%, not 39%.

@CherylStoner14 @WhiteHouse The short answer is they didn't (sort of). The tariffs in the blue/white column are calculated based off the trade deficit those countries have with the US, and how much they export to the US. Tl;dr, the bigger the trade deficit and the lower the exports, the higher the tariff.

@cjamr97 @AMR_Official @FIAWEC @Heart_Of_Racing THOR are still learning the car, and BOP is likely to be heavier on the Valkyrie bc of it being a new car (it's standard procedure, over-BOP a brand new car so it doesn't dominate but also little data to go off). Hope for the first few rounds is to have both cars finish.
