Always a Western lens 😔. In our culture, for generations childbirth has been handled by women. It’s not “cowardice” it’s modesty & respect for boundaries. Not every man is expected to stand there & watch the entire process, and that doesn’t make him less of a husband or father.

today my friend’s sister gave birth to a baby and during the whole labor process her husband wasn’t in the labor room (stayed in parking lot) because he was scared. Like seriously? You weren’t scared when u got her pregnant but now you’re scared to see your own child being born?
