I don’t understand how Ole Miss coaches wouldn’t be allowed to coach next week. Was there some agreement that they could *only* do two rounds? Was Kiffin/Ole Miss counting on losing to Georgia? Just seems crazy to not let them finish the season.

@AllynMcKeen @msudawg04 @ScoutSteveR Ah, I mean he has to understand a 10-23 record in the NFL with very limited college experience isn’t what the fanbase/AD was looking for after a tumultuous few years. If he has hard feelings and lack of understanding after that… he can keep coaching where he is at.

@_Alex_Gomez__ @msudawg04 @ScoutSteveR That was in 2020. I think the hard feelings are from 2023 when we hired Lebby. I think he expected the same level of interest and he didn't get it.

Former Mississippi State players who are now coaches that we should consider bringing back home: -Pernell McPhee (OLB, Michigan) -Jamar Chaney (ILB, Baylor) -Taveze Calhoun (CB, Southern Miss) -KJ Wright (DQC, 49ers) -Kivon Coleman (Analyst, Bama) -Jett Johnson (GA, UConn) -Kody Schexnayder (Analyst, Ole Miss) I'm not saying we should hire all of these guys, and there are obviously more important factors to consider, but there's something to be said about having guys that played here and have a love for Mississippi State. We've already got former guys like Erroll Thompson, Gerri Green, Tim Washington, and Rod Gibson on staff, but we need some more to make sure we've that DAWG mentality.

@AllynMcKeen @msudawg04 May be true but if I remember correctly, @ScoutSteveR reported at one point that Joe Judge was such a done deal that his wife had bought a maroon dress. The Giants came calling and the rest is history. That was in 2020.
