@Wvisioncreation This is why I lost interest in smartphone photography.

S26 Ultra needs a “big camera software update”? Yes. It needs precision fixes because right now, the system is stronger than its behavior.
2 real bugs. 2 real tuning gaps 👇
1- 3× so frustrating?
Auto mode still drops to 1× even with auto lens switch OFF. You're forced to reselect 3× every time. That's not “Ultra ” behavior.
2- The Camera Assistant issue?
v4.5.00.20 inconsistent 12MP ↔ 24MP switching, sometimes locks at 12MP. Control is broken.
Where does performance fall short?
1- 24MP pipeline is slightly overprocessed. AI pushes too hard on text and fine detail.
12MP already shows the balance, 24MP needs tuning, not more processing.
2- What about Expert RAW?
(Not VR/VA those are perfect, don’t touch.)
Gallery Preview ≠ real result. Affected by the aggressive 24MP processing.
Once RAW opened in Gallery/Lightroom, it drops back to normal. That inconsistency is annoying.
Was S25 Ultra like this?
No. Stable at launch. No major bugs. Just gradual improvements within its limits.
So it didn't need a big camera update.
So is S26 Ultra worse?
No. It's actually better overall.
The real story? More capable system… less refined execution.
Fix the logic. Fix the tuning and S26 Ultra pulls even further ahead.

@swiggah1 @Wvisioncreation Damn, which digiscope did you use?
English

@_alteredtech @Wvisioncreation It's not. Search for the word 'digiscoping'. This is not the phone only oc.

@techdroider @vvaiibhav It was the tech enthusiasts who first waited in line and bought them. We recommended them and promoted them to friends and family. OnePlus kept gaining popularity until they decided to chase a different crowd.

When Apple and Samsung had a monopoly over the market, it was OnePlus that shocked everyone with the “Flagship Killer”, bringing top-tier specs, insanely smooth performance, and clean, bloat-free software that actually felt different. It built a community, not just customers, and made people believe in something fresh, bold, and exciting.
I still cannot believe OnePlus is about to shut down, it was never just a brand, it was an emotion, a journey we all were part of.
What went wrong?

The Nothing Ear ($77) beats the Ear (3) on battery (8.5h single charge vs ~5.5h with ANC on Ear (3)), call clarity (60% less interference), and value with its ceramic drivers, adaptive 45dB ANC, 8-band EQ + personal sound profiles.
Ear (3) has the unique Super Mic case trick and premium metal accents, but at $149 it's less compelling now. For most people, grab the Ear—it's the smarter daily driver.

Yo @_alteredtech, they're $77! Go get them!!!

These Nothing Ear buds (the new flagship) rank #1 in Nothing's in-ear lineup.
They top the Ear (2) with 1.8x stronger 45dB ANC, 25% longer battery (8.5h single charge), better clarity via ceramic drivers, advanced 8-band EQ + personal sound profiles.
Way ahead of the budget Ear (a) in sound, ANC, and features.
Solid pick at $77—best value flagship yet.
(For open-fit: Ear (open) is separate, more casual.)

@CConceptCreator Covid lockdown was the best time for photography. Some people hate being filmed and I hate filming them.
English

@mattmoniz Hmm… side by side they both look good. I do have a tempered glass screen protector on both btw.
I’m not using privacy screen due to the obvious drop off in display quality.

English

@_alteredtech Nope QHD. Colours are over saturated so its more of a vibrancy push which some people find more pleasing. I like the colours when they are accurate.
English

Quick question for S26 Ultra owners: Have you noticed the display looks a little fuzzy compared to the S25 Ultra? Even with Privacy Display OFF?
Because after two weeks with this phone, I found three layers of display compromise Samsung isn't really talking about. Full breakdown just went live. Link below!

@techdroider Sounds like you want the next flagship from nothing
English

@_alteredtech I know that's why i said it's not usable but it is just to show the difference in processing. Good photos will come for sure 😉

🤌🏾 I can't get enough of this phone, man. It works well and it's ridiculously beautiful. I don't want to sit it down, even with the other phones I have. @nothing Amazing work. #NothingPhone4a
