@CConceptCreator Covid lockdown was the best time for photography. Some people hate being filmed and I hate filming them.

I would love to see OnePlus stir up some competition with Nothing. They need to do something different. Something exciting.

This Royal Crimson color on the S26 Ultra case by Thinborne reminds me of the Crimson Moto Mod Style Shell. But instead of fabric it’s Aramid fiber 🔥

@mattmoniz Hmm… side by side they both look good. I do have a tempered glass screen protector on both btw. I’m not using privacy screen due to the obvious drop off in display quality.

@_alteredtech Nope QHD. Colours are over saturated so its more of a vibrancy push which some people find more pleasing. I like the colours when they are accurate.

Quick question for S26 Ultra owners: Have you noticed the display looks a little fuzzy compared to the S25 Ultra? Even with Privacy Display OFF? Because after two weeks with this phone, I found three layers of display compromise Samsung isn't really talking about. Full breakdown just went live. Link below!

If Nothing had used Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 in the Nothing Phone 4a Pro, I would have bought it instantly. The design is amazing, but the hardware is still meh. The current price is fair for the mid-range chip and specs, but I’d happily pay more if it had a flagship chipset and hardware.

@_alteredtech I know that's why i said it's not usable but it is just to show the difference in processing. Good photos will come for sure 😉

🤌🏾 I can't get enough of this phone, man. It works well and it's ridiculously beautiful. I don't want to sit it down, even with the other phones I have. @nothing Amazing work. #NothingPhone4a #WithNothing (shot on Phone 3)

I can see Nothing phones being sold in T-Mobile stores. It’s different. It stands out. The 4(a) looks extremely cool and doesn’t have a flagship price. I’ve never tried a Nothing phone but I’m tempted for the first time. I don’t care about the cameras as much, as this is a midrange phone. What I care about is the presentation, UI experience, software reliability, security and features.

@Wvisioncreation S26 ultra software is superior for sure. the S25 ultra requires way more work for low light shots.

S25 Ultra vs S26 Ultra | 10x, Low Light. Older Galaxy Auto mode basically had one night solution. S26 Ultra now gives three: 1️⃣ Night OFF (limited ISO) 2️⃣ Night Mode Level 1 3️⃣ Night Mode Level 2 Last shot shows the S25 Ultra, the only default option it had before switching to separate modes like Night mode or Expert RAW Genuine question: When reviewers compare cameras, do they usually mention which night level they use, especially considering the tools and resources available for professional reviews?🤔

I remember going to the OnePlus pop ups and just analyzing the fans who were there. It was just regular people who wanted something different. The OnePlus community was a place for tech and outsiders. I don’t think the company understood how important it was for so many people. Carl Pei managed to capture the same audience.

@Wvisioncreation This is a great tip. Manufacturers tend cross the line with over-sharpening. Samsung should have a tool for users to pick between photos they like and tune the algorithm/processing to their liking. These settings aren’t exactly easy to find for the average consumer

Why I personally use Photo Softening: High on my S26 Ultra 10× example. Yes, I recommend Medium in my article since it’s slightly sharper and most people will prefer it. But High gives me two useful looks depending on resolution: • 12MP → natural & clean. Perfect for close-ups (people/pets/textures). • 24MP → sharper without heavy processing. Great for distance scenes. The last shot is S25 Ultra still decent, but it loses some detail and text even though it isn’t overly sharp.

I meant to say, if the aperture of the S26 Ultra is bigger, it should have a more shallow depth of field. The images from it all look like it's at a f/16 with a large depth of field. Everything is in focus and detailed. It seems like the S26 Ultra's camera software is superior. I've seen this before with the OnePlus 8T. Stock camera app had blurry images like on the S25 Ultra auto mode. Gcam made everything look sharp and detailed.
