@Suppressor i think part of it is they want so many casuals in flooding the game cause they most likely to buy microtransactions if they are having fun, they’ll be inclined to spend

I’m seeing so many people complain about people working around sbmm/mmr in pubs in pvp games and it makes no sense to me. They want newer players to be protected so badly but for many years, the biggest appeal to getting better was to be able to stomp on bad players and hold your own against other good players. It’s fun and an expression of skill to be able to win very consistently after getting good. It’s not fun to perpetually be stuck in a loop of getting better and playing sweatier and sweatier players in pubs. That’s what ranked is for

“Minimal skill consideration” is still sbmm, it shouldn’t be in pubs at all. The lobbies are still insanely sweaty
