He has done the same previously for India A & India, he always bats at strike rate of 60 in India A games, I don't know on what basis he was selected in middle order over Ruturaj Gaikwad & got captaincy too!

I get why Patidar couldn't find a place. GG likes to fill the team with all rounders and Shreyas has a better captaincy pedigree. Tilak hasn't done anything wrong in T20Is to lose his place.
But Agarkar could have been more compassionate when talking about why Rajat missed the bus. Kept hyping up Shreyas' batting form and dismissed Rajat by saying "we can't select all", and "we can't make everyone happy."

Rajat Patidar deserved a chance. I know you can only select about 15 players but he should have got in.
