Well, good morning! First off, this post was made for the people in my community! I may be a small streamer, but I know there's a few people who have discord servers muted and what not, so the post was made for them and I did NOT expect this to be picked up, especially not as much as it did. For everyone saying "I will still play it, haha! Gotcha". Never have I stated in my post that anyone should quit playing the game. It is entirely up to you what you do with the information I put in front of you! If you want to quit, so be it. If you don't, so be it! For the ones saying "Practice what you preach": This is me doing that. Exactly that. Yes, you can tell me "Oh but you pay for premium". Most content creators do. Even if it's something I hate, I have to in order to make it in the world of content creation. We all must participate in the world that we have been born in, we all must use systems that maybe we do not agree with, and under legislation that may not align with our own morals, but this participation does not mean that we cannot ask for it to be better, for everyone. Twitter premium allows me to reach more people, which allows me to engage in these type of conversations on a larger level (evidently) and this, to me, shows that my participation in paying for Twitter premium is a fair price for being able to spread my thoughts on this topic, which may change some minds, and help bring the change that I and so many of us want. On the other hand though, I do not use any of Twitter's GenAI features, I also blocked Grok a long time ago. Speaking of which, I also don't use Google's AI feature (just put -ai at the end of your search!) and I always try my hardest to not play any games or interact with media that supports GenAI. I have had many discussions about it with my community and people know I've been like this from the very start. For the people saying "You should've known because of the beta/the game studio/other reasons". My first interaction with this game was watching its trailer back in 2024. After that I heard nothing about it till release. That's when the "supernatural" description caught my eye and I got excited for it as no other similar games have that. I went in blind and once I realised there was GenAI, I left. The way GenAI is currently built is wrong. I hope for days when it won't be harmful. Until then I'll avoid using it as much as humanly possible, and continue to talk about my issues with it, until it hopefully changes. Thank you for everyone who showed appreciation for the fact that I stood up to this and I hope NTE can show that they can do better! ^^
