I have been learning trading for almost 2 years, no payouts achieved yet. Trading can feel heavy, urgent, and personal sometimes. It’s because of the expectations I bring into them. The rush. The timeline. The need for it to show something. Wanting it to feel like progress. Gratification feels so delayed it almost doesn’t exist. Just… invisible progress. Trying to learn what it means to experience this as it is. Not what I want it to be.

Interested in these levels

If you don’t like it create a private group and move off social media media. It doesn’t matter how good you are or how much you help people on here, at the end of the day you’re not owed anything from these people. Social media brings out the worst in people so just take it for what it is. The “crabs in a bucket” analogy comes to mind

Unable to get to the charts the last few weeks but price action has looked underwhelming. Had a quick look today and picked this out. Nice swing into an imbalance above pre market highs just after market open. 1st presented FVG is inversed then we run to London lows and then Asia.

What started as something fun quickly became a business, and the fun side left. It compromised my values as I felt that when I took time away from the Discord, I was doing something wrong. I have incredibly high standards, and when you combine that with people trying to learn a hard skill, I take the failures very personally. Alex and I started the Discord server as a space for people to learn, evolve, and level up, and we did everything we could to provide the most value so they would stick around. It became about the money and the business side and even writing that makes me feel weird because that wasn't ever my intention. I am sure people can say bad things about that, but the team and I walked away from a decent 5-figure check each month and refunded everyone for their outstanding memberships so we can go back to it being fun again. It wasn't easy, people can say it is, but it's not, especially when you have high standards and morals.

Posted this inside of @thelab last night - farewell present as we closed it last week, no more paid Discord. Back to being traderkane, not discordkane. It was a great two years; learnt a lot about myself, helped a ton of people and am happy with what we achieved.
