Her family is devastated to lose such a bright and wonderful presence in their lives, but comforted to know that she's at peace and isn't hurting anymore. Betsy took so much comfort in your messages of love and support -- thank you.

Betsy passed away this morning. Her battle with cancer has ended in a tie. In the words of her favorite comedian, when you die the cancer dies too, so that’s not a loss -- it’s a draw.

@ThanksCancer Awwww, thank you @ThanksCancer. Unfortunately beneath the mask is still some facial paralysis caused by a procedure to stop some brain bleeding about 6 weeks ago. Fortunately it is healing… very slowly 🤪

I’m now on the same chemo combo I’d first started upon diagnosis in 2020 (only this time alongside immunotherapy). But my oncologist was right to remind me my body, on the other hand, is not the same. It’s sort of kicking my ass this time. 🥵😂@ThanksCancer

Well, the good news is I survived sepsis and bacterial meningitis. The bad news is half my head is shaved off. Whatever the case, I’m glad to finally be home. @ThanksCancer
