My 81-yo dad was placed in care, not a place of our choosing. His dementia progressed quickly. He was reassessed as requiring EMI care. He was forced out of that home & placed yet again in2 a care home not of our choosing. You’ve no idea how hard this is until you’ve lived it 😢

Look what just arrived! A huge milestone after 3 years (4 with the Access Course) of blood, sweat and tears. As a mature student who didn’t do well in school, balancing this with Mum and life responsibilities hasn't been easy. If only there were a job waiting at the end...

@StN_Freda Hi Freda, spend time with the bed managers, matrons, AMU coordinator, have a conversation with the Senior Manager On Call (SMOC), social workers & AHPs. You can as you know DM me. Make whats left of your management placement count.

If anyone followed my hesitations about the lengthy 13-week management placement, here's an update: I'm finishing week 5, and the weeks have flown by! The growth since starting 3 years ago is incredible. I'm now ready for whatever comes my way. Looking forward to learning more!
