The Club would like to place on record our appreciation to Lewis Baker and Steven Nzonzi, who will leave Stoke City following the conclusion of their respective contracts. Baker, 31, departs after five seasons in ST4, during which he started 92 Championship matches, 14 of which came during the 25/26 campaign. Nzonzi, meanwhile, made 31 appearances last term, 17 of which were starts, after returning to the Club in August, a decade on from starring for the Club in the Premier League. Both players leave with our very best wishes for their future careers.

@youngy18 Hi Ashley, back in about 2008 my team Littlelover Villa won the league and you came to present at our awards evening. You shook my hand and gave me a leadership award for being team captain. The ceremony was at Derby rugby club. You smelt lovely that night thanks for coming 👍🏻
