"There are forced disappearances of Hazara women in Hazara-populated provinces," said Farkhonda Akbari, a researcher at CEVAW, as she addressed an event on the sidelines of the UN Human Rights Council meeting in Geneva. She added that conflict-related sexual violence remains a taboo subject in many human rights reports.
