I just got finished watching every career throw of all of the prospects, so I’m coming from a place of knowledge. What I see out of Simpson is more polish. His dad is a college head coach, so during his entire life, he’s had a mentor and a sounding board that almost nobody else had, including Mendoza. NFL level coaching is the equalizer. He doesn’t have that advantage anymore, because everyone has high level coaching. There is some “fools gold” to Simpson. Mendoza has more potential IMO and room for growth. Simpson may have peaked.
