Kendrick didn’t cross the line. He didn’t shoot Drake or cause him bodily harm. He just released better songs. Let’s move on

"Your first shit was classic, your last shit was tragic Your second shit put niggas to sleep, but they gassed it Your third shit was massive and that was your prime I was trailin' right behind and I just now hit mine" J Cole literally two weeks after hearing "Like That" verse 😂 Now he has admitted that he had two features with Kendrick Lamar on "The Fall Off" and had to take them off 🫵🏿

The most impressive thing abt this Kendrick run is his dedication to silence . He’s a bigger man than me.

Jay-Z On Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl Halftime Show “Watching that Kendrick show since it was the first solo rap headliner. Yeah, for sure. He could have made it a little easier on himself. The artistic choice to play the new album was brave in front of that big of an audience. Because even if 10 million people know some of these songs, there’s 120 million people that’re like, “What is he doing?” As an artist, to stand up there and do it and complete your vision—I had to tip my hat. I had high respect for him already, but, like, even more my respect was like: He’s really about what he says he’s about.”

Hip Hip/ Rap has made Kendrick Lamar more legendary & more prolific just in the last year with the conversations reflecting on the battle. Kendrick is more gangsta than he already was. Will be interesting to see where things go from here.

J. Cole, Peter Rosenberg and now Jay-Z have all come out this week to express their disappointment in how Drake was treated in his battle with Kendrick Lamar and how 'inhumane' the internet has gotten towards artist. The 'human element has been lost' What they dont tell you is how those same two mf'ers sneak dissed, subbed and talked crazy shit about being the best rappers alive until it was time to prove it and they both got folded up. Somehow it's now social media's fault that these two niggas played tough and was really cream puffs that got they ass handed to them in one way or another. guess what, society is mean, these guys made millions in that same society so we're not gonna cry for them because they are actually getting mean verbal attacks just like Taylor Swift and everybody else famous. Kendrick never says a word but these two somehow are fucking martyrs. FOH

Drake might be the most cuddled rapper in history. This victim narrative lame like he played no parts in throwing allegations, trolling, and antagonizing.

Jay z wasn’t defending Drake in my eyes I also understand why he feels the way he feels about battlin rn I disagree tho , simply because Joey and Ray Vaughn had no issues , we talked bars , flows , schemes and went about our day It went that way cause Drake went low and made it somethin it didn’t have to be

I don’t see where Rap/Hip Hop is going anymore. Like sport wise idk if we will ever see another battle like Kendrick & Drake. Especially if Jaÿ Z saying it’s not a good look for the Culture anymore. That’s really interesting to hear his voice on that.
