California's reckless laws and runaway Parole Board are getting our citizens killed. A double murderer was let free after serving half his sentence, then promptly killed again. I'm calling for a full review of our state's early release laws and of the Parole Board's decisions.

The California Parole Board got an innocent person killed again. Who could have ever predicted that a convicted double murderer would kill again? Two weeks ago they also found two serial convicted child rapists suitable for early release, including one who said he still has sexual fantasies about young children.

California politicians just moved AB 1421 through the Assembly — a bill that orders the state to build a mileage tax system by 2027. Not "study." Not "explore." Implement. That means tracking every mile you drive — then taxing you for it. On top of gas taxes. On top of registration fees. On top of sales taxes. On top of local transportation taxes. This is a commuter punishment aimed straight at working families who drive to work, drive their kids to school, and drive to pick up groceries. Sound familiar? SANDAG tried this exact scheme right here in San Diego County. Residents found out. Commuters spoke up. Small businesses pushed back. They backed down. We stopped it once. We'll stop it again.

Gavin Newsom's budget proposal includes $33,000 for a self-portrait of himself. No one should be surprised he spent $114 million on an unfinished wildlife bridge. High taxes, wasteful spending, and massive fraud go hand in hand with Gavin's California.

Why is it that most homeless “nonprofits” spend just 17 cents per dollar on the homeless while @salvationarmysf pays 85 cents? 🤔

The majority of that money never gets to the homeless. It goes to non-profits who then pay salaries and "operational costs." In some NGOs as little as .17 cents for every dollar goes to services. I will say that @salvationarmysf, .85 cents per dollar goes to programs.

No voter ID, especially when combined with mail-in ballots, means the system is engineered to make fraud impossible to prove. Everyone knows that you can barely get through your week without showing ID for the most banal activities, like shopping at Costco. The only reason to ban ID is to hide massive voter fraud.

The reality is there's mass amounts of cheating in our elections. Just because there's an engineered lack of data, does not mean there isn't data to the contrary. The new CBS/YouGov poll shows that 80% of Americans support Voter ID including 80% of black Americans & 77% of Hispanic Americans. Yet why is it that Congress seems so intractable to wanting to pass a such a popular policy?
