WHY A GREAT VTUBER MODEL COSTS MORE THAN YOU THINK
Many people see a finished VTuber model and think they're only paying for a drawing.
In reality, you're paying for hundreds of creative decisions.
Every model starts with research. What kind of personality does the character have? What colors fit their brand? Will the design stay recognizable even when viewed as a small avatar?
Then comes the illustration itself. Every layer must be separated carefully for Live2D. Hair isn't just hair—it can contain dozens of individual parts. Eyes, eyelashes, pupils, mouth shapes, accessories, clothing, shadows... everything has to be prepared separately.
A clean PSD isn't optional—it's what allows a model to move naturally.
Finally, every project teaches something new. Artists constantly improve their workflow, anatomy, rendering, composition, and technical preparation.
When you commission a VTuber model, you're not buying "one picture."
You're investing in experience, problem-solving, and a character that may represent your brand for years.
As a VTuber artist, my goal isn't just to create beautiful art—it's to create a character that feels alive.
