Why are you begging Mikey? I know you have imposter syndrome. You are blacklisted!!!! I made sure sneako never gives you a platform until you fix up.

You are misrepresenting Sinai’s own conclusion @InspiringPhilos which I’ve seen you guys do often. After his linguistic analysis, Sinai finally concluded the Quran is claiming to be the arbiter of both the meaning and content of prior scriptures. “The Qur’anic proclamations style themselves as the decisive corrective against such inaccurate citation and interpretation of God’s revelations: “O scripture-owners, our Messenger has come to you, making clear (→ bayyana) to you much of what you have been hiding of the scripture” (Q 5:15: yā-ahla l-kitābi qad jāʾakum rasūlunā yubayyinu lakum kathīran mimmā kuntum tukhfūna mina l-kitābi; cf. similarly5:19). In sum, the Qur’anic claim to a confirmatory relationship with previous scriptures is coupled with a claim to constituting the ultimate arbiter, vis-à-vis Jews and Christians, of what these previous scriptures are saying. This is in fact not surprising, since the Meccan verse Q 27:76 already voices a kindred claim, albeit without an overt reference to earlier scriptures: “this → qurʾān recounts to the Israelites (→ banū ˻isrāʾīl) most of tht about which they are in disagreement (verb: ikhtalafa).” If there’s any doubt Sinai repeated this as his own position in an AMA Reddit. “My general answer here would be that the Qur'an very much reserves the right to decide what's in earlier scriptures and what they mean.” reddit.com/r/AcademicQura…
