Spent some time yesterday showing two of our Cortland football players how to change a tire. My grandfather always said we all have a vehicle to do God’s work. Football is mine. Proud to help these young men grow into men.

It took 5 schools to stand up and say they weren't putting up with this anymore for the Section and NYS to finally take notice. When is NY finally going to create a league for these private schools? They wanna recruit? Let them play against each other then.

I texted a coach this morning and asked how the new job was going after about a month. His response was one I’ve heard many times… and lived myself: “Not bad. Some kids pushing back culture wise. Always worried about staff and numbers.” If you go into a program and start making the changes that need to be made, be ready for pushback. That’s normal. My advice to him: Water the good grass. Don’t let the weeds hold you hostage. Too many coaches start looking the other way because they want to keep players and coaches happy. They convince themselves they can slowly change the culture. It doesn’t work that way. Culture doesn’t drift in the right direction. It moves toward the standard you enforce. Stay strong to your principles. The right grass will grow. 🌱🏈 @fastnwide

i have no desire to be rich so i can buy a lambo or birkins. I want to be rich so I can control my time and go to the gym at 2 pm on a wednesday. sit at a cafe and relax for an hour on a rainy afternoon. so I can cook meals at home with fresh ingredients. spend on my family and friends without worrying about a budget. that’s my idea of a rich life, not the fake consumerist idea shoved down my throat.
